Our new favorite toy

Another birthday present that we had not opened yet was from Nana and Grand Daddy. They brought it to the house after their party because it was large. The kids went to nap before they had a chance to open it. We wanted to wait to open it when Michael and Linda were around to watch. We put it in Ethan's closet and it has been there ever since.

We finally decided to open it with or without the grandparents simply because the timing never worked out. Dallas opened the package while the kids were napping a few weeks ago. Ethan woke up first and was thrilled to see their new art easel!

He loves practicing his letters. He is really into the sounds they all make. Walks around going C C C Cat.

Then he discovered the chalk board!

Loved to clean it off. Paige woke up and the excitement level shot up again. Since Paige is completely obsessed with coloring right now, the easel was a dream come true.

I think the chalk board is both of their favorites.

I really liked that you could put paper on both sides. What a perfect toy for twin toddlers! It also has two large compartments on either side for their art supplies.

She had to show me every color and tell me what they were. I am glad we waited to open this gift. The kids were not into coloring near as much a few months ago. I think this will be a winning activity for quite some time. I already have to hide the easel. I kept it in our room for a week or so but Paige would stand at the gate to our room begging to "Cowor". So I moved it to the laundry room. Within a couple of days she had memorized its new location. It is in the garage currently or we would have to color from the minute we woke up until we went to bed. Thank you Nana and Grand Daddy for the wonderful gift!
