February Snow in TX

By now everyone knows we received an unprecedented amount of snow in February. It started snowing on Thursday and Dallas was still out of town. The kids and I waited patiently for him to come home before we went to play. We had a great time!

Dogs enjoyed it as much as we did.

Believe it or not I did not mean to color coordinate them.

Starting the snowman.

They were big helpers with the snowman.

I think our snowman was great! Can you tell by the pictures we were out in the snow past dark. Dallas was worried it would be gone in the morning but he was wrong. There was even more snow and we headed out in it again.

I love the swing snow picture. Look at our poor buried snow man.

Trees out back.

Ethan was not posing but he sure looks like he was.

Then we discovered the truck bed playpen! They played for over an hour in the back of the truck. I did not have to worry about them going anywhere.

We told him a hundred times to quit eating snow. Way to go Dad, teaching him that one. :)

Then throwing snow at Mommy became the game of the day. We all had such a blast!

Such a special day all across Texas!

Just a few pictures.

I found the few pictures I took on our first family vacation.

Turning the lights off and on was one of the high lights of the room.

Reading books and showing off our art work to Grandpa John and Grandma BB.
I still can't believe these are all the pictures I took of this special trip. :(

These are just pictures from a random day before school when I thought they looked cute.

My sweetie pie really needs some shoes to wear with dresses.

Do what Mom? and he is gone...

One morning I was running late and I needed the kids to stay put for a while so I could get ready to go. I brought the table from Paige's room and sat it in the living room so they could eat and watch TV. I paid the price for weeks with them trying to eat in the living room all the time.
