Tiffany's shower

Saturday, August 1st we attended Tiffany and Jake's couples wedding shower in Granbury. We both went to school with Tiff and we love Jake. He is hilarious! Grammie babysat for us so we could spend the night since it was a decent drive.

The party was a Naughty/Nice theme with hot pink and black for colors. As you all know, I am Queen of parties and love to throw a good one. The only problem is when I attend a party that was not really thought out it drives me crazy. This party was wonderful! Tiffany's roommate Mario was in charge and he covered every detail. The food was really good, the cake was cute and even the guys got into the games. I usually don't love games at showers but he made it fun. For one game he had a list of 'guy movies' with a list of quotes that you had to match and the same with 'chick flicks'. I could not get a single one on either sheet! Dallas however got almost everyone of the guy's movies and five of the girls. Can you tell who watches more TV! Ha! Dallas even won the bingo game and we got a $15.00 Starbucks card. Now that is a prize worth winning! :)

The cake was a giant flower with a diamond ring in the middle. I had to take the picture from a weird angel however cause some man ate two of the cupcakes from the back.

I liked this pillow. One side of it said "Tonight" and the other said "Not Tonight". Too funny!

Doesn't new love make you want to gag. :)

Tiffany and I.

We really had an excellent time getting to know all of their friends. At the beginning of the party poor Tiffany's AC froze up and we had to move the party outside. It was a little warm but not completely unbearable. I felt so sorry for Tiffany as she ran around trying to fix it. We ended up turning it off until we went to bed. Thank goodness it was defrosted and ready to go by then.

We headed home the next morning to see our kiddos. Isn't it always the case, you need a break from your kids and the minute you are gone you miss them. They had a wonderful time playing with Grammie while we were gone. I think they made her read every book we own! Ha! They played playdoh and all kinds of fun things. They are so lucky to have such amazing grandparents and so are we!!!
