Visit with Grandpa John and Grandma Be Be

This weekend Grandpa John and Grandma Be Be came to visit us on Saturday. They live in Austin so we only see them every once in a while. They arrived when the kids were eating their morning snack and they were so happy to see them. The kids finished their snacks in a hurry so they could get down and go play. We all spent hours playing together.By far the favorite games of the day were peekaboo in the tunnel, playing with the balls and ball pit, and having fun on the couch which is a blog in itself. Our new problem is the couch and I am so over it. Ethan was having a gassy tummy and wouldn't take his nap so he had a little alone time with his grandparents. Paige took a long nap and kind of threw us off schedule a little so we decided to just get Subway for lunch and bring it home. I was kind of relieved simply because of the hassle of taking the kids out to eat.
After lunch Grandpa John and Grandma Be Be took the kids on a walk in the wagon. It was a little hot but I figured with the cover they would be fine. I sent them each a glass of ice water and sent them on their way. Paige decided she needed to drink the entire glass in the first minute and ended up throwing up around the first corner of the walk. The grandparents improvised nicely and used Grandpa's handkerchief to clean her up. She had just eaten lunch and didn't have room for all that water. She was probably a little impatient as they cleaned her up because she doesn't like to stop when in the wagon. They were all hot when they returned but in high spirits nonetheless. They headed back home around 4pm while I tried to get the kids to take their evening nap but Paige just wasn't having it. She kept singing, playing, and shaking her bed rails which of course kept her brother up. I am so close to separating them into two rooms. They would sleep so much better but I am just not ready to give up our guest room yet. We had a very relaxing evening. Dallas and I attempted to watch a movie at around 8:30 pm but had to slap ourselves the entire time to stay awake. When did we get this damn old!

Thanks Dad and Betty for making the trip! We always enjoy our time together.
PS- Pictures will follow. I didn't take any so I will have to get them for Dad.
