Landon and Addi turn 3

Landon and Addison turned 3 at the end of January and they had an petting zoo party at their house. It was probably one of the kids favorite parties ever! They absolutely love animals and everything about them. The party started at 2 pm because that was when the animals were available; however, in our world that is nap time. We put the kids down for an early nap that day and to our surprise they fell right to sleep. Perfect! Right before we were about to wake them up and get them dressed to go, it started raining. Boo! I wondered how Melissa was going to do the party in the rain but I did not care. I knew the kids would have a blast regardless of being wet or not.

We arrived at the party and they had put the petting zoo in their garage. Genius! Dallas and I were really impressed that they could actually fit all that in their garage at the last minute. We would have to watch our car blow away in a storm because we have so much crap in our garage. That is an entirely different blog but back to the party. :) The kids immediately ran to get hugs from Melissa then they were ready to check out all the animals.

They had a donkey, miniature horse and all sizes of goats. The kids had to touch every one of course.

Ethan was obsessed with this brown chicken. It was a very tame chicken and did not mind one bit that he was petting it. Paige liked the little black pig which was adorable. Ethan and Addison were having a great time talking and laughing about the chicken. It was so cute to see the kids having little conversations with their friends. They grow up so fast!

Look Mom it's a donkey. Of course all the kids loved the cute little bunnies.

The birthday girl was having a great time and she was just adorable in that hat.

I wish I would have gotten a picture from the front of Ethan's face with this chicken. He would touch the chicken then jerk his arms back and scream with delight. He did it over and over again. My cheeks were hurting from laughing at him.

Oh the poor bunnies... I thought Landon was actually going to squeeze this one to death but look how happy he is with his rabbit.

We of course had to brush all the animals too.

The birthday girl and boy riding the pony. Melissa might have to rent just a pony for their kids because those two loved that horse! You could see the pure joy on their faces as they rode it over and over.

We almost missed the pony ride because the kids were so involved in checking out the house. They had not been to Melissa's house in a while so they had a lot of Landon and Addi's new Christmas toys to check out. We caught the pony in the front yard before they put her up. Look at my big boy! Melissa saved me by letting us borrow some good jackets. I had just grabbed their light jackets as we ran out the door.

My pretty girl must have been concentrating with that tongue stuck out.

Now she is just showing off. I LOVE this picture of Paige. You just can't be much happier than that!

After pony rides we went back in the garage for round two of petting animals. Addison and Paige were having the best time chatting it up about the chicken. I just adore seeing them all interacting.

Look at Addi throwing her head back laughing in this second pic.

They were having some quality girl time.

We moved inside for cake next but of course the kids had to go check out Addi's house in her room.

I did not get a good picture of Landon blowing out his candles. There were so many people.

I was glad I made them eat their cupcakes on the front tile. They made a huge mess. Addison started opening her presents and was already through ours before anyone noticed. HA!

Then in a blink of an eye Landon had opened ours already also. He was so quick I did not even get a picture. He seemed to like the truck we gave him and Miss Addison had to wear her new Cinderella dress the rest of the party.

We really had a wonderful time and the kids still talk about the animals.
