Birthdays Galore

The kids have so many friends with family, our friend's kids and their friends in class at daycare. Apparently everyone in our class has a birthday in February, March or April. We were going to at least one birthday party per weekend sometimes two. We finally had to turn down a few invitations before we went broke on presents!

Dallas took the kids to Hunter's birthday party but he did not take one picture. I was at a friend's baby shower. I did not really care if he took any pictures as long as he made sure Ethan and Paige did not tear his mom's house apart. The kids had a good time and I even got back in time to go say hello and help him load them in the car.

The next weekend it was Esmi's 3rd birthday party. Esmi is in their daycare class and her mom, Miss Jasmine, is also a teacher at the daycare. In fact as of last week she is our new teacher with Miss Jessika. The kids absolutely love her and they thought it was cool to be at her house. The party started at 5pm and we arrived shortly after. Only a few people were there on time with us and they all happened to be people from daycare. All the kids had a wonderful time playing out back by themsleves for a good hour. They had rented the biggest bounce house I have ever seen at someone's house and they had a huge yard. The kids ran and bounced all night! They also had a large blow up video screen and loud speakers blasting music all evening. The kids were all dancing together for the first 30 minutes. We all about died laughing watching them! Esmi had better moves than most of us with the facial expressions to match. Hunter and Dylan were being silly and my poor kids had not a clue. They rarely have even heard music that is not their kid cds. They were jumping up and down and spinning circles but they were still adorable.

Hunter, Esmi and Paige getting down.

I mean seriously look at this little girl's face. I could not stop laughing.

Ethan followed these two guys around forever. They were throwing a football around and he was so interested. They were really nice and would throw him the ball every once in a while.

Paige wanted to play inside with Esmi's toys. I have to say the only thing Esmi did not like sharing was her Dora bike.

They used the big screen for a slide show video of Esmi they showed later in the evening.

It was getting really late and they were about to start singing and cutting the cake. I knew our two were not going to make it since they were already on the ground kicking and screaming. We went ahead and loaded them in the car and took our cake to go. The kids were not happy about it but they were not going to be happy regardless at this point.

Happy Birthday Esmi :)

We really had a great time and enjoyed watching the kids play with their friends!
